Comparison of the Taurus Tx22 Compact, Glock44 and the Sig P322. Which one is the best for the money and which one is the most reliable. TX22 has cheaper mags. The P322 does not feel cheap like the TX22. The P322 has nicer factory sights. The base model TX22 is not optics ready. You have to get the TX22 competition model or compact model if you want to put a dot on it. The P322 is optics ready. The P322 is hammer fired while the TX22 is striker fired. One noticeable difference is the grip ergo's, both have excellent feel, but the TX22 is a bit wider and has a more pronounced hump - kinda like a CZ or HK..The Sig P322 is just a tad wider and longer than the 365...but barely. The trigger dynamics are very similar as well. The TX22 has a bit more pretravel, and a softer wall.The TX22 won a couple "Gun of the Year" awards from the gun mags, and its trigger is amazing (specially for <$250), while the P322 looks to have an OK trigger between 4 to 6 lbs (My TX22 breaks crisp at 3lbs 7oz average). Looks like Sig is releasing a “hi cap” 22lr pistol to compete with the Taurus TX22 possibly. I already have the TX22 so I doubt I’d buy the P322. Also curious how reliable it will be compared to something like the Mosquito. The Mosquito was manufactured by GSG for Sig.

The P322’s closest rimfire rivals, the FN 502 Tactical and the Taurus TX22, have 15 and 16-round magazine capacity, respectively. The similar-sized GLOCK 44 holds only 10 rounds. Yes, the KelTec CP33 packs 33 rounds, but that pistol is its own animal and not really directly comparable to the SIG, the FN, the Taurus, or even the GLOCK.
