7 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Jan 9, 2016. got the car in october, was leased 9 months by the first owner. 5800 miles at purchase. intermittent starting issues that occur almost daily mostly to me, key NOT pushbutton. no one has an answer as to why this happens to just me or my husband and rarely anyone else ?Battery seems fine and is not dead, not getting the no crank with an electric click sound. I am a little stuck here. I have a no crank no start. This is a 2014 Toyota Rav 4 LE. It has a mechanical key (not push button start). So... check for battery-voltage at: 1. ignition-switch. 2. starter-relay when ignitin-switch is ON. 3. starter-solenoid when ignition-switch is at START.Try to find the terminals where you can check the continuity across the fuse.
