NE3107 is a derivative of a sterol metabolite that has anti-inflammatory and insulin-sensitizing effects. It is being tested in Phase 3 trials for Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, with results from the first Phase 3 trial in people with mild to moderate probable AD expected in 2023.
