As such, I have to keep an eye on the oil level and add a court every 4-6 weeks or so. If the oil level gets too low, then the VSA light will come on and things don't go well.Honda agreed with me that they should have advised me that the oil leak may damage the alternator, therefore they covered the cost for a new alternator (was a few months outside of the 1 year warranty). I did have to pay for the new spool valve. Cost approx $750 Canadian. Part was $230, plus a few hours labour.
