A couple days later, something even worse happened. I went to go use OMNY, and randomly got hit with a “card not accepted” mind you, i had used omny like 10 times in the last two days no issue, and all of a sudden with my train 2 minutes away, i get hit with this. My only recourse was to use one of my $20’s and buy a metrocard, a waste.For the past few years, my commuter benefits debit card did not have the contactless option so I would refill Metrocards for all of us at the kiosk machine. My commuter benefits debit card now has the contactless option, so I added the card to my Apple wallet and my parents’ Apple wallet.Yes it is enabled with the same card. It’s up to the card issuer.
