I've been able to reset the node, and manually add it using the AiMesh search, no problem. Got this one in January of 2021 with mfg. year 2020, if that's relevant. TL;DR: Remove all connected Ethernet cables that are connected to the router node except for the WAN one, connect your disconnected node with an Ethernet cable to your router (it should be connected to your node in the WAN port and on your router to the LAN port).
