Due to recent outages, I have been looking around for backups or alternatives.TOS is what I use for realtime charts. I use amp futures and their platform quantower to trade on. Basic data is $3 a month. $1.24 round-trip commission and margin is super low. $40 for an MES contract $100 for MNQ there are a couple other pretty cheap I think MYM and a couple others. Check out AMP or Optimus Futures. Consider this new brokerage started by FuturesTrader71 called Edge Clear. All-in-micros per round turn using Rithmic for $0.98 no strings attached. I signed up as soon as they launched. Awesome so far. I do about 80 sides per day. AMP has poor service and tradovate is a one-platform brokerage.

What I said is I don't like Ninja Trader as much as TradeStation or Tradovate. Rithmic data can be a little less reliable though. I like to see the orders trading stocks, but I stopped looking at them for futures long ago.
