Tivo v58 error.

Dec 6, 2015 · I've been TiVo and Comcast user for many years. No issues until yesterday. Last night I noticed that I'm getting V58 errors on all but the channels that would be considered "local" or "free" for my area (St. Paul, Minnesota). I tried the following: Power cycled TiVo Roamio; Power cycled cable modem (realized this was beyond TiVo tap... I am a few weeks in to Roamio ownership and about at the end of my rope. Roamio Plus, Cablevision, NDS cablecard. I can only go about 24 hours (sometimes 48) before I start getting V58 channel not authorized errors on different stations. Heres a good test to reproduce problems if you have both a Roamio and a Mini: 1) Tune an encrypted channel on the Roamio -- I used A&E. 2) If you try to watch the same channel on your Mini, the Tivo will use two tuners to do so. 3) V58 errors galore every 5-10 minutes on the Mini.
