I do put it in D sometimes when I am lazy around stop and go town riding. I ride mountain roads 80-90 percent of the time. Already got 6k on the 1100 DCT. From 16T front and 45T rear, to a 17T front and a 43T rear. The result was a longer 1st and lower gears shifting point and lower rpm and less vibration at higher speeds.
