The mag release on the Dagger is a very sharp small square and not very ergonomically friendly. The mag release spring is also very stiff making the release hard to push. The iron sights that come with the slide are plain black irons both front and rear.

I doubt the issue is the OEM Glock 17 magazine… I think we can strike that one. That leaves the PSA Dagger, or the Brownells mag release. Maybe I got a mag release that slipped by QA/QC. I doubt it is the Dagger – the pistol worked fine with the mag release that came stock on it.

Fortunately for PSA is the mag catch/release is about the only major hangup with the gun that I’ve found. At worse everything else on the gun is decent.
