G17 vs Springfield XD-9. I'm a new shooter. I bought a Glock 17 a couple months ago. I've put about 600 rounds thru it thus far. Last week I went to range, and shot 20 rounds with my 17. I then shot 10 rounds with Spingfield XD-9. then another 20 rounds with my Glock. My grouping with Glock were about 5 to 7 inches, at 5 yards.

This is with both gun and magazine unloaded. The loaded weight is with standard magazine capacity plus one in the chamber, so 6 rounds for the XDs and 7 rounds for the Glock 36. This is with Corbon DPX 185 grain ammo loaded. So, unloaded and without magazine the Glock 36 weighs .9 ounce more and fully loaded weighs 1.7 ounces more.
