Been debating back and forth on getting a .308 rifle, originally I wanted to get a Ruger GSR Bolty, but I’m leaning towards just getting an AR10. Ruger SFAR 16” Or Aero M5 16” or 18” The SFAR is appealing since it’s not to to heavy pre optic.. This will be used as a hunting rifle mostly, wanting something not overly long or heavy.Yes. Glad it's working out for you, but the sfar concept is redundant I feel. Doesn't save weight nor lop/oal. If sfar was an in between the 15 and 10 as far as cartridge length/mag size goes, then yes it would be a good concept (I feel that way anyway).
