To the best of my knowledge (which became obsolete years ago), the Wi-Fi module built into the Trimble TSC2 works only with the older/slower IEEE 802.11b version of Wi-Fi. In 2016 it is doubtful that a Wi-Fi router serving a business would be providing that version. I’m using a Hiper V Topcon model and have been getting some issues with the radio signal strength of both the receiver and the base (the red light was blinking meaning the connection was low). But the main issue today was that when I started the base to begin the survey the base did not come off of autonomous. A quick google of Arizona statutes list this type of forgery as a class 4 felony. Mitigating circumstances turn it into a class 3 felony.
