Can't really match a more actual lens such as the DA 16-45mm but color rendition and contrast is excellent, a bit yellowish to my taste. For APS-C use I prefer the A28mm 2.8, less expensive and better performer.It also has many other fully automatic modes. In manual mode it has spot metering. Actually, it has many functions of more advanced (and heavier) cameras. Although it is heavier than many film cameras, it weighs less (500g) than my K-S2 DSLR (850g), which is a fairly small DSLR.

Don’t bother with the 18-55 and 50-200, the 18-135 is much better and used copies are cheap.
