Turn it around and look in the back,in the square main column you should see 2 threaded holes 1 empty and 1 with the bolt in it you saw from the front. Remove the bolt. Raise the center column to the empty hole. Re-install the bolt making sure the column is plum to the base. Set-up re-adjust the stations to produce a good shell.

Does anybody now if MEC still sells the "OLD" style charge bars ( the ones WITHOUT that White rubber grommet in the top of the bar). I do not like the new ones at all! The rubber deteriorates and shot digs into the grommet and gets caught between the bar and the loader head.I just loaded 25 rounds of .410 using the UCB in my very old 600Jr. The powder side of the bar is equipped with a red plastic powder baffle. I used Winchester AAHS hulls, Claybuster CB5050-410HS wads, Winchester 209 primers, and 1/2 oz. of Eagle #9 "magnum" shot. My desired powder charge was 16.5 grains of Hodgdon 110.
Crimp Adjustment with MEC 600 Jr. I've managed to confuse myself again. I'm loading 7/8 oz. 7.5 shot in both AA HS and Rem hulls. I use CB1100-12 wads in the Rems and DRA12 Pink in the AA HS with 18.5 gr. of Clays over Fio 616 primers. The Rems load and crimp great, but the AA HS have the typical bulge that occurs when the stack is too tall.

Wipe the dirt off and oil the parts that move with the exception of the charge bar and the hinge where the top folds back. They do not need any lubrication.
