Hey guys I just noticed that Oanda offers additional spread discounts as an option under their advanced trader program. Oanda has a history system that retrieves up to 5000 candles of history. Depending on the broker, that's significantly more (or potentially less) than you can get from the history of MT. I've had cases with MT4 where I could only get the last 2 weeks of data for H1 for NZD/USD, which was unacceptable to put it mildly. The difference between FXCM / OANDA / Forex.com / ICE symbols are as follows: ICE symbols are composite, meaning they consist of data received from several dozens of contributors, while FXCM, OANDA and Forex.com are separate Forex brokers. The trading hours also differ: ICE: Su-Fr 22.00-22.00 (UTC);Oanda won’t allow you to trade US30. They don’t allow indices. On tradingview it's called "US30USD". If you live in the US you won't be able to trade it. But if you don't live in the US, I guess MT4 just doesn't have it, and you need to go try on tradingview platform.
