Carmax warranty is one of the best out there. I had it on my 535 BMW gaskest changed 6k job I paid 50 bucks. I would definitely buy the extended service plan. Good luck getting Ford to cover a new transmission under the powertrain warranty. I had no such luck and spent 4K for a new transmission.
