I am new to the Mauser in general so I'm not familiar with what should be marked where and what it means. I found the manufacture from the bcd code and the date obviously is 1943.I believe that the bayonet is a K98 bayonet manufactured by Maschinenhaus Ferlach (Austria) in 1943. I believe the scabbard is mismatched since that is marked with a S178K, indicating it was manufactured by Gebr.Heller, Marienthal in 1937.
