Joined Aug 26, 2008. 952 Posts. #26 · Jun 28, 2010. i was thinking late 3rd gen with flat bottom style headlights like 06+ and just swapping the bumper and grill while still keeping my 2nd gen headlights. i would imagine there would be some mods with the hood latch, and fitting the bigger 3rd gen grill to my 2nd gen ... cut the sides fron 9" to 5". added the bottom. and top. all tacked up. welded and ground down. how it sits... had to put it on the truck to make some small changes, had to actually cut off the back side and turn it back a little. Welded the front fully, grinded it down, then filled it in pretty much with a second pass...then welded the back fully.
