They are for larger submitters and the grading is not as strict. GEM is a scam, they are well known to only grade counterfeit and altered cards. Gem mint with the cut on that card? You can’t rely on the grades and no one is going to pay more for it.

The etched look is cool. I don't really have a favorite slab since they're all pretty similar. The TAG slab is just as good as any other. The breakdown of the grade is what makes them stand out. If any other company had that much detail it would be a game changer.
