Was a little disappointed not to see a bump in mpg's, but at least its soot free now. Glad I did it. 08 2500 6.7 auto grey, 5" TBE, mega flow s-3 intake, throttle valve deleted, erg,cooler,ccv and grid heater deleted. I have a 2006 Bluebird Vision with a C7 Cat giving me fits. The "wait to start" light is on constantly KOEO or engine running and the grid heater is never activated at cold start up. I have tested the relays (solenoids) now trying to test the actual grid heater just need to know how many ohms resistance should the element have. The only way I have seen searching the internbet on removing the CEL (code) is by using a EFI live tuner, as it allows you to fool the ECM by setting the input voltage for the intake heater to 0. No other tuner seems to be able to do this.
