Don't try to go kinda endgame here cause there are a lot more good weapons that is way better (Lenz ,ignis wraith ,opticor,Lanka,staticor,scoliac,Tigris (prime is better a lot)Arca plasmor,Lex (prime),Clem) So just focus on getting on with Mr from weapons and if you get the weapons I stated keep them (especially Clem) Most of the "upgraded" weapons work in steel path. So if something has a better version, that better version generally works. If you are struggling currently check out your builds and see what you need to improve. If you want help link your builds and I can see where you need to improve. For some overall suggestions for MR 12ish weapons

The Pyrana is a good choice, Akvastos, Akjagara, and yeah, the Aksomati are okay. You can go whatever you really want for melee, since there's so many slash melee weapons. Toxin Damage Weapons.
