I tried a men's 7, 7.5, and even 8 and my feet were nowhere close to fitting into the boot. I just got some Baldface vans and I think they run true to size based off of what vans shoe size you wear. If your toes are curling up there are heel lift pads you can get which will lift your heal pulling your foot back.
