I haven't failed since getting my tricaru online, but before that every b10 team I built would have random fails.

While it is true that beginners need good rage/fatal sets early on, the event rune is not for you to get a rage/fatal rune. You're supposed to use it to get the best and most versatile rune that will be useable till end game. Balegyr only needs 58% cr, verde can be run triple blade if needed for tricaru.In many Tricaru posts they already mentioned fire gargoyle for fight/determination runes to help with the stats but the speed tuning is much more harsher (and you need the gargoyle to be constantly at at certain hp%) All in all it is probably not easier and has been discussed before with stats. here are the runes. take note Verde is currently runed for Team#2 (Tricaru). when he was in Teams#1 & #2, he was runed Vio Rev 180 SPD. he is no longer on Vio and he is also specifically runed thick now (>75k EHP) to survive dragon breath at <30% boss hp. I took it to non-repeat and just ran through it on manual only using skill 2. Yes the guy that made tricaru posted that if you have 12 determination sets equipped you literally only need +12% defence on slot 3 or 5 which is crazy low (this is with max towers, level 5 guild buff, max slot 2, 3, 4 and 6 rune) so essentially if you can SSS light and water rift beast consistently, anyone can run tricaru after you farm for a while there

Even if you’re one of the lucky few who truly love their job, you probably don’t want your identity to be defined solely...The reason for that is that because Icaru has a higher base defense, %defense is worth more on runes than %attack. In other words, you'd need more %attack on a rune to make up for the 100 attack you'd get from an artifact than you'd need %defense on a rune to make up for the flat defense on an artifact.
