I looked at the connection and it looks like the hose snaps in to the heater core inlet/outlet port/nipple and is secured by a clip.I would take a shop rag, bunch it up around the hose where it runs over the connector then take a set of pliers or channel locks, grab the hose where it fits over the connector and twist it to break the seal. Then the hose would pull right off. I'm not sure of the set up on our cars though so I have to go look.
