My buddy took it to his shop today and hooked it to their Tech 2 scan tool and tried to reprogram the Head Unit. They got it to unlock and it shows that it is working, but there is no sound.

If so look on the back of the console where the rear seat radio controls are and turn the rear seat controls off. when the rear seat controls are on it turns the rear speakers off so the back seat can use head phones.
