n_slash_a. • 3 yr. ago. 30-45 SPM is a good number. That is 1 science per cycle on an AM1 or AM2. Works good enough. My other advice is to buffer stuff. This is not recommended for normal play, since it hides bottlenecks. In the No Spoon case, you want to hide bottlenecks.
60 spm is too high for a no spoon run, at that rate you will only need 2h to complete all the research. I recommend: aiming for 30 spm designing your bps prior to the start of your run. having a listen of jobs o complete thruout the run. The main trick is to not build too big, and get production going as early as possible. A blue circuit assembler that only works 25% of the time and is built at hour 4 is just as good as one built at hour 7 that operates 100% of the time.
