My 2023 has a ticking sound that is not the DEF injection tick, it is not a ticking or sound I have heard with modern diesels. I have been aware of that DEF tick tick sound for years with many different diesel trucks. This is an odd ticking that speeds up on acceleration as well as deceleration when downshifting relates to RPM advances.

On the 2020 there are two belts now and the fan is by itself. I put in the diesel fuel supplement in the grey bottle according mixture on the bottles directions to raise cetane level and lube injector pump and injectors. in one treatment ticking was gone and real noticeable power improvement. worked real well!!
