I have read that Sako's can be picky about the ammo you shoot and that I should consider shooting the Sako Brand Ammo. I have also read that Sako's components are of higher quality than the Tikka.

Ruger is $550, equivalent Tikka after C&T will be $1500 or so. Thats a big difference for a blue collar dude like me for a rifle that's not likley to shoot better, and possibly even worse. I'm not paying $1000 to say my rifle is "smoother".

This is opposite the KRG Bravo for a Tikka T3x that comes in at $390 without free shipping. So right around $150.The tikka .308 barrels are not slow barrels. Mine shoots factory FGMM 175s at 2530 while my 5R shot at 2500fps. The 6.5 tikka barrels are slow but accurate as hell and thats what matters. The 5R 20” will have a little more weight to tame recoil.
