Move the clamp about 15cm down the hose. Remove the hose and lube it with a little new engine oil. After sliding it on all the way, move the clamp back up. If it is still fighting you, use some heat on the hose. Replace the entire valve cover. IMHO every 1st gen 1.4L needs the valve cover replaced at some point.

PCV questions. Hello, I have a 2014 Cruze with the 1.4 turbo. I bought the V3 PCV fix kit so the check valve in the intake manifold is covered. After looking at the way the vacuum lines are running I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer. Is there a reason you have to have the crank case gases recirculating back into the intake?

The pcv is supposed to 'suck air' at a controlled rate, so yours may not actually have a problem. Further diagnosis is recommended before you start exchanging parts. Rob. Okay so I have an oil leak from the PCV Valve Cover of my Cruze (2015 LT 1.4L). I thought it was the gasket but after replacing it there was still a leak. Took another look and the oil is coming from the two bolts on the left. I’m pretty sure I overtightened the bolt as it just spins now.
