Is ninja trader worth it.
This is a new problem that im having which is that when attempting to download a day worth of market replay data it takes FOREVER to actually download. Im talking like 5-10 minutes. It takes so long that I thought it was actualy frozen. It used to take like maybe 15-20 seconds to download a days worth of data, and maybe 3-4

But its a lifetime license, and with it the broker gives you their lowest rate which is like 54 cents a contract. The software takes some learning, it is not user friendly.If you have been paper trading for a while and have 5k in the bank, then you could try to pass their 150k challenge within 2 weeks and not have to risk your own money. So thanks for the idea Ninja (I do own a multi-broker license) Overall it's a way smarter move to use NinjaTrader to learn how to build a strategy that can make money, and run an accurate test simulation with their market replay or live sim tool. The most challenging aspect in this game is finding the alpha. Yes It seems like the 1K option is the best one if you choose NT. The $1,000 is for a lifetime license though. If you choose NT as your platform, and you stick with for the next 5 years, it works out to be a whopping $16 per month. Obviously, if you keep it longer than that, it works out to be even cheaper.Trader Joe’s does not sell its products or gift cards online.
