Check and see if the weight in the rubber liner is properly seated, if it is you should be able to feel it if you press up into the center of the liner while it's upside down. When I get the yellow flashing lights, I lift the globe, vacuum out the litter, reset it in the right position, then I unplug it from the back of the box. Before plugging it back in, I hold in the cycle button, plug in while holding the button in, release, and it works again. Might help you too.
