I ran into this and the only reasoning I found was that I was using a blueprint for a gun that I didn’t have the base gun unlocked. I still get this bug even with the gun unlocked. On PS5 using the Victus XMR. Unlocked and maxed but wanted to use the Folivora blueprint to try the Raptor-FVM40 scope that comes with it.I started the game with primary insured weapon (ISO Hemlock) in slot one, contraband SMG in slot 2. I had a blueprint weapon in the insured slot and could never spawn with it or any other gear. Removed the blueprint and just made a new gun build from scratch and haven't had the issue since.
