Debated for quite awhile between 12 and 20, because I was concerned that the 12 might feel too "bulky," with wide barrels at the top of the receiver. CZ Sharptail target and it is OK for the price point. I have not shot it much but it has been 100% reliable so far. The biggest concern I have with it and any other Turkish single trigger shotgun is that the trigger pulls can be too high.The Ringneck 16 ga was on a scaled frame although you wouldn't know it by placing one on a scale. They went about 7 1/2 pounds or a little more depending on the stock wood. I really prefer my 16 ga SXS's to be around 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 pounds for bird hunting, so my 16 ga Ringneck doesn't get a lot of work nowadays.
