The Suzuki manual shows a slide hammer with a hook being used to remove the yoke. I took wire and ran it thru the yoke then wrapped it around a 32oz ball peen hammer and made a hillbilly slide hammer they popped right off.

I believe the 250 wasn`t made until 1985 ! LT 250EF and LT 250 racer:confused: 84 biggest quad was 185 CC I can send u the info on them !! It probably a 1985 bought at the end of 1984. I found in the suzuki parts catalog, that they have used 3 different stator fot the lt250. And the one the used on mine is not showed in the 1985 repair manual.
