There should be a setting in the 1st tab that says tether distance add a ton of 9's to it and itll fix that. I had that same problem a week ago when I started playing with friends. On Ark Ascended I can't remove it buy just setting the tether distance to 100000 like on Ark se, even by changing it in game user settings. Anybody know how to remove it ? This has to be a deliberate decision on the game developer's part. Give us back the option to increase tether distance. If it's too much for our computer, then so be it, we will have to change it back. But, we had tether at 999999 on classic Ark and we were just fine and had great family games in our household.
